Renowned media personality Janet Mbugua’s marriage with Eddie Ndichu could have hit a rock this time round.

The pairs marriage has been the talk of town over the past few months now.

Janet and husband Eddie have on several occasions dismissed questions concerning their marriage, leaving many speculating a break-up.

Following a recent interview with K24 presenter Betty Kyalo during the Up close show, the mother of two finally opened up about her marriage.

According to Janet, marriage life was not easy for her, stating that sometimes people tend to rush into marriage, not knowing the complications that comes with it.

“Trying to balance family, work and expectations is really hard, I always tell people to take their time and make sure their ready, because you could be good at being in love but you do not really need to be married.” she stated

“I love my family, but I am not afraid to say it’s not easy….I refuse to be quite about the struggles that I go through.” added Janet.

Married for 4-years now, The former Citizen TV presenter is a mother of two, Ethan Huru Ndichu and Mali Mwaura Ndichu.

Rumors of their alleged breakup sparked when hawk-eyed netizens were keen to notice that Janet had edited out ‘wife’ from her bio,  retaining just “mum of two” on her Instagram page.

Taking to his Instagram page few months back, Ndichu, with an apparent aim of quelling the rumors, posted a half picture of him and his wife having a good time.

The two, flaunted their sparkling wedding rings and brand new watches they had just purchased.

Known for her expertise in the media industry, Janet quit her job at Citizen TV after she felt that she was not spending enough time with her then 1-and-a-half-year-old son.

She also stated that despite news anchoring being one of her greatest blessing in life, it is time consuming and she was beginning to feel fatigued. Coincidentally, she had many opportunities away from the screen coming her way.

During her interview with Betty, Janet hardly mentioned her husband Ndichu when talking about her family.
