As Kenyan Citizens continue to face the struggle due to Covid-19, Citizens of Embakasi East constituency can smile as their MP has given most of them an early Christmas.
Recently, Hon.Babu Owino announced that he’ll give 50℅ of his monthly salary to the government to enable them support the need in this tough moments of Covid-19 outbreak.
Today at around 10am, Hon. Owino together with his team distributed foodstuffs to members of Embakasi constituency. With most of the residents congratulating the move that Babu has taken,they’ve also urged other senior leaders in the country to chip in and help the needy make both ends meet. Currently, citizens are not allowed to work in public but to do so from home which is difficult to those working with “Jua Kali”. This has been a challenge to common mwananchi.
We call upon other leaders to to come out and help us. We’re suffering since we’re not able to go and work on the markets as we used to. We are forced to stay at home where we’re unable to work and meet our basic need. Life at the moment is very hard as it was before corona virusKennedy Mbaya, Resident Embakasi Constituency.
The MP has urged Kenyan Citizens to keep the government in prayers and also to observe the safety precaution measures given by the government. He also point out that when citizens adhere to the precautions, they’ll reduce the chances of getting the virus and at the end we’ll overcome the virus.
